Four Part Chaos Never Sounded So Good With The Joggers' Debut - 2004-01-28
To say that the debut release of The Joggers, entitled Solid Guild, is a bizarre trip would be an attempt at understatement at its greatest. A collection of 12 tracks that are almost as offbeat as you can get, Solid Guild is ... well ... weird, but cool.
Featuring four-man harmony - yes, that's right, all four guys tackle vocal responsibilities, and simultaneously at that - that seems to come right out of the worst southern gospel playbooks, in combination with guitar riffs that are akin to what I could only imagine it would be like to have a hot poker stuck in my ear, Solid Guild is ... simply amazing. Sure, more often than not the album comes off like a ramshackle broken football play that crashes and sputters all over the field, but it still manages to score a touchdown in the end.

Ainsworth expects maiden profit of $1-4m - 2004-01-28
Junior poker machine maker Ainsworth Game Technology expects to book a maiden profit for the 2004 financial year in the range of $1m to $4m, after earning a small operating profit in the first half.

Ainsworth booked a loss of $14.8m for the 2003 financial year, following a $4.6m loss for the first six months to 31 December.

Ainsworth said it expected "a significant improvement" for the second half of 2004.

"This improvement is due to the international expansion plans as outlined in the recent prospectus dated 10 November 2003, including the recently announced strategic alliance with Unicum.
