Big casino eyed for Anchorage - 2004-01-20
Once again, talk is circulating among lawmakers in Juneau to open a large casino in Anchorage.
The Alaska Department of Revenue has concluded that video poker machines could generate upto $80 million to fund state government.

Poker champ and furrier Perry Green is getting credit for the idea, according to the Anchorage Daily News. He wants the casino installed at the site of the former Alaska Seafood International plant.
